Dr. Bruce Symons

Dr. Bruce Symons was born in Hong Kong to Scottish and Chinese parents, and the entire family immigrated to Vancouver when he was 11 years old. He obtained his Bachelors in Zoology from the University of B.C. in 1985. He then relocated to Calgary in 1986, and completed the Biotechnology program at SAIT in 1987. With an interest in neurobiology research, he finished a Masters degree in Medical Science (specialization: Neuroscience) at the University of Calgary in 1992. During his time at the university, he developed a herniated disc in his low back and was told he would likely be paralyzed from the waist down. After intensive treatment with his family chiropractor for over a year, the disc symptoms resolved, and he was so impressed with chiropractic that he enrolled in the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 1997. He returned to Calgary to practice, and began a PhD at the Human Performance Lab, Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Calgary in 2001, focusing on the biomechanics of neck manipulation and stroke. Dr. Symons is a legally-acknowledged expert in neck manipulation, and has published numerous scientific peer-reviewed articles internationally on neck manipulation and stroke. He is married and has one son.

Dr. Daniel Moore

Dr. Daniel Moore, BKin, DC graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Moore also received a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Calgary. He has worked as a Kinesiologist at Lifemark Talisman Centre, developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for post injury and post surgical patients. Dr. Moore grew up in Calgary, participating in organized hockey, lacrosse, soccer and basketball as well as enjoying golf, snowboarding and mountain biking. Dr. Moore believes that many factors play a role in the health of his patients which is why a holistic approach using multiple forms of treatment is important. This led him to study Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University, which is highly effective in treating joint and muscular problems. Tiny (Tinney) Jacob, PT

Physical Therapist

Tiny is passionate about rehabilitative medicine, and worked as a chief physiotherapist starting 1999 for over a decade in a specialist hospital in India. His family then moved to Canada, and Tiny worked as a physiotherapist for the BC health authority, and later moved to Calgary to work as a clinical physiotherapist. He is experienced in treating musculo-skeletal and neurological conditions,  and strongly advocates an evidence based practice.

Apart from work, Tiny enjoys exploring nature, fishing, biking and spending time with his family. He is also keen in learning languages and Church history.

Dr. Alyssandria Hadden.

Dr. Alyssandria (Alex) believes that all medical services need to be safe, comfortable, respectful, and compassionate, and takes pride in providing the highest level of medical treatment and customer service in a modern and highly professional manner. Her greatest reward is when she helps a patient to overcome seemingly impossible situations, whether that means reducing chronic pain, overcoming anxiety and depression, or solving infertility problems so a new life can begin.

Dr. Alex has been a holistic health practitioner for more than 15 years. She graduated from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009 and is registered and licensed as a Doctor of Acupuncture with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta. She also earned 2 diplomas from the Wild Rose College of Alberta in 2004 as a certified Master Herbalist and Holistic Therapist, and 2 degrees in Education and English Literature from the University of Calgary.
Dr. Alex considers herself a General Practitioner in the world of Alternative Medicine, but has special place in her heart for women’s issues, including everything from menstrual cramps to menopause. Lilia works with clients of all ages including children, adults and seniors. Her services include a variety of massage techniques that are designed to relieve the pain and stress related day to day living, while aiding in the rehabilitation of physical injuries. Gloria is a Registered Massage Therapist, and graduated from the 3000 hour program in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy from Makami College in Calgary, Alberta. She is well trained in therapeutic massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, myofascial cupping massage, hot stone massage and shockwave therapy.

She has a great awareness and respect for the human body. She fuses clinically based deep tissue and myofascial techniques to both calm and relax. With the addition of stretching movements and kneading techniques she is able to provide a restorative therapeutic treatment that aids in the body’s natural healing process to reconnect the person as a whole. Victoria Mstoev

Kumi Sato

Kumi Sato was born in Japan and has always been interested in the medical field. For several years, she worked introducing medical products to doctors and nurses that had patients with cancer, bedsores and burn wounds in Japan. After discovering how natural medicine and aromatherapy were great cures for many disorders, she became interested in aromatherapy and massage therapy and became a registered massage therapist before relocating to Canada with her husband and starting a family.

Azusa Hirota, RAc, TCMD, RMT.

Azusa is an expert in holistic care. She studied Acupuncture and TCM as well as Massage Therapy at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. A scientist at heart, she also holds a BSc of Physics degree from a University in Japan. With amazing attention to detail and expertise, she will walk you through the treatment process and address your specific needs and health concerns. Using traditional Chinese medicine theory, she applies her skills and knowledge with precision and a guided touch.

Azusa is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine and an acupuncturist, however, at our location she is only offering massage therapy, including deep tissue and relaxation massage as well as pre and post-natal treatments and cupping.

In her spare time, she loves kicking butt with her black belt in Aikido, a traditional Japanese form of martial arts.

Ashley Lindberg

Ashley is a registered massage therapist with a 3000 hour diploma. She loves helping people with their overall health and well-being, giving an extra push to the body’s natural healing process. She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, hot stone therapy, Thai yoga massage, pre and post natal, sports massage, myofascial release, and trigger point release. She continues to regularly upgrade her skills and knowledge.

She is a strong believer in the healing benefits of massage therapy, and is focused on ensuring her clients receive the best care possible. As a firm believer in the importance of listening to her clients, and working together to create a treatment catered to their needs, Ashley will spend time tailoring each treatment to bring relief from any injury, or to simply melt away the stresses of everyday life.

Kimberly Smith

Kimberly Smith, R.M.T, has been a practicing registered massage therapist since 1989. Her catalyst was a life altering car accident at the age of 21 which helped her find purpose in helping others heal. Her unique intuitive approach using both light and deep pressures assures clients’ relief, while assisting to uncover the core issues of their symptoms. Kimberly has experienced many of her clientele’s injuries as a former triathlete and runner, and uses that knowledge to adapt her treatments to induce a speedy recovery. Kimberly adds a blend of craniosacral, joint mobilization and Reiki insights to her healing applications to aid others with their own journey to balance mind, body and spirit. After running her own thriving massage therapy practice in Ontario, Kimberly recently returned home to Calgary after 17 years to continue her quest for balance and happiness.

Rebecca Light

Rebecca is full member with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association and has been since 2017 when she graduated with honors from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Rebecca is a dynamic individual devoted to the pursuit of excellence in health and mobility, personally and professionally. In the treatment room her technique includes Swedish relaxation as well as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques and cupping to restore and maintain full range of motion for pain free enjoyment of the activities of life. She is also versed in working with clients to build injury recovery programs specific to the injury and stage of healing for a return to optimal mobility.

Previous to becoming a massage therapist Rebecca graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of fine art with a major in jewelry and metalsmithing and a minor in anatomy drawing. Even years before becoming a therapist Rebecca was building hand strength and cultivating a love of anatomy! A long time hobbyist dancer Rebecca also enjoys taking dance classes and performing with Body Art Motion a local movement arts and entertainment troupe.
